    II. Easter Morning (Gospel quotes)
III. Easter Week (Charles Kingsley 1819-1875)
and varied partial repetition of the gospel quotes of the second movement and the William Blake poem of the first movement, which gives a textual and musical cyclic element to the whole work.

lyrics

III. Easter Week (Charles Kingsley, Gospel quotes & William Blake)

See the land her Easter keeping, Rises as her Maker rose.
Seeks, so long in darkness sleeping, Burst at last from winter snows.
Earth with heaven above rejoices,
Fields and gardens hail the spring; Shaughs and woodlands ring with voices, While the wild birds build and sing.

And very early in the morning, the first day of the week, Women brought sweet spices to anoint Jesus.
God Appears & God is Light. Ah!
